Just bought this Hogan golf bag. These things usually don't last long, so I must have caught it before others had a look ..... There are 2 remaining, gorgeous, vintage Hogan stovepipe golf bags in faux leather, circa 70s or 80s .... one crocodile, and the other, tobacco red .... I actually like these more, as they look real classy and sleek, but they don't come with hoods, so that will mess with the look. Also, in a practicality standpoint, these bags are slimmer and were designed with smaller driver and woods heads in mind, so modern equipment may make it a tight fit. For anyone interested, there's about 5 days left before the bid.

I would like an older MacGregor bag like this. I found one at a driving range on one of my business trips and I tried to get the guy to sell it to me but he was not the owner of the range so I was unable to purchase it. Love that first Hogan bag. Very traditional.

Thanks, I like this Hogan bag too. I like the look of the older golf bags easily over the new ones; their shape, the materials they use. Can you imagine this high quality leather Brunswick sold for $20.50? I was gonna bid on it, but I couldn't make the time for the bid ..... The older designed golf bags had a lot of style. I'd take them over the common nylon they use nowadays.
