I now have both shots in my bag and wanted to say thank you. My pleasure. Thank you for the update! Always nice to hear that someone is doing well with something. :-)

iacas -
Do you feel the clubhead just dropping in the downswing for the pitch shot? That's the hard part for my brain to accept that I'll get the ball to the hole.

Feel isn't real (duh) but I will say that I don't feel that I'm doing anything to get the clubhead to the ball. I like the feeling of the clubhead almost "dropping" due to gravity and nothing else.

My feel is that I do absolutely nothing at all with my hands. I start to pivot when I feel the club begin to float load due to the very soft wrists and elbows. I just turn through rather smoothly and the club head hits the ball. I was surprised how far I hit it like this with very little effort. It took me quite a while to adjust to the distance, which is why I had at least 10 or so practice sessions with it before trying it on the course. At first it was very scary for me to try this as I was worried about dumping the club into the ground behind the ball. I found that to only be a concern if I stalled my pivot. Now I end up totally turned through but with the handle low and towards my left belt loop and the shaft near vertical. It is super easy once you quit fighting it.

Thanks. This shot has baffled me and I'm getting really close.

That's a good description and is very similar to what I feel.

This shot sounds like hitting from lagpressure's M1 position. Does that make sense to anyone who's been through it?

Made a quick video of myself hitting these shots today. Thought I would share.

How far did you hit that shot? Curious.
Do you feel the back of the left wrist cup (flipi dare say)?

How far did you hit that shot? Curious. Do you feel the back of the left wrist cup (flipi dare say)? Those shots were hit about 50 yards in the air with a 52* wedge. They both hit took once bounce forward and spun to a stop. I feel the left wrist cup post impact as I sort of suck the handle back in to my body.

Thanks. Very helpful. I need to use my 56 more instead of gauging my 60 into the ground.
