Hey guys & gals.
Been following Richie's progress that last few years, only realised today there was a forum. I love the way Richie keeps his readers up to date with the latest things happening in the world of golf.
I live in the north of Ireland. I'm 38 and play off 3. I have been on a quest to get to scratch the last few years that I record on the australian website iseekgolf.com
I'm here with an open mind and intend mostly to read about new developments in the world of golf. From reading some of the posts today I can't tell you how excited I am about the bushnell hybrid, its like they read my mind!

I'm back in San Diego, forgot I had a username and password for this forum! Nice to see the discussions here 3Jack. On page one someone was commenting on your limited weight shift. I remember I went to a Lee Trevino exhibition south of Seattle in the 80's - same year he won the British and was really on his game. During the instruction phase he said he didn't do things conventional and then went on to describe certain things. One was that he started at address with the weight 90% on the right foot and then transferred it to the front foot on the backswing. Not sure if I got the percentage correct but essentially it was start with the weight on the right foot and move it to the left foot.

Richie, Ive been reading your site on and off for awhile. There is a ton of good information on it and I enjoy hearing the opinions of people who generally know what they are talking about. I am going to try to read/contribute more as the time now allows in the "off season" in the Northeast. I'm a 40 year old PGA Professional who does a lot of teaching. I grew up the son of a USGA official and spent a lot of time in the summers traveling from one event to the other. I thank you for all the work and time you must put in to keep this blog going, I learn every time I read it.

Hey, just found this site as I've just started taking this game seriously and want to get into the good habits before the bad.
I'm 28 and live in England. I played as a 10-11 year old for a couple of summers, had a couple of lessons and I've been told I could beat the older players and was good. I really enjoyed it but had to stop playing.
Fast forward a few years and in the last 4/5 years I've dusted off the clubs for a game once or twice a year. Until now it's been too expensive for me to play.
Right now I've been playing around 3 months a couple of times a week. I'm getting under a hundred consistently and 89/90 fairly regular.
My biggest weakness is my mental game. My worst shot is my driver, lessons are sorting that out, and I've just changed my swing which is reaping rewards with the wedges but has destroyed my long irons/woods.
I am keen to learn and really like to get advice from other players.
If anyone wants to say hi that'd be good. Advice is more than welcome.
