Hi guys, im looking to find an instructor who I can really trust and work with long term. I live in the south of England so hopefully someone within a reasonable distance. The names I have come across so far are
Ian Clark
Sam Quirke
Matt Belshem
James Ridyard
If anyone has had any experience with any of these I would love to hear from you. Or if you wish to recommend anyone else that would also be appreciated.
Thanks

I've been weighing up getting lessons from a 'darome instructor' this spring. As well as Matt Belshem, Peter Hollington looked good...

Not sure how far he is from you, but you may want to look up Dan Whittaker. "dfw1500" on youtube.

Hey guys, thanks for your replys. Dan is a long way from me, so much so that I can't even consider him as an option, thanks for the advice though. Richie did mention Matt Belsham when I sent him a message but I have no idea about darome instruction. I have heard he is very good. Don't know anything about Peter Hollington but ill do some research.
Thanks Again

Matt Belsham also teachers European Tour player Robert Rock. 3JACK Also Simon Kahn. Matt Belsham could do with updating his website - its pretty poor. Peter Hollington looks like he has done alot of work with MOG. Attended 7 schools or something like that. A few guys over at golfwrx gave him glowing reviews...

Matt Belsham looks to have a lot of good reviews. Im also looking at Ian Clark as he is much nearer and also appears to be a very good teacher. Really have no idea about darome instruction, I know the specifics can probably not be discussed on forums but what is the general idea? From what I can gather Richie works with a darome instructor?

M.O.R.A.D. is an unbiased examination of the biomechanics of the golf swing. It was born out of The Golfing Machine as Mac.O.Grady received instruction from Homer Kelley and then decided to do his own research of the golf swing, which included examining The Golfing Machine book itself.
However, it's not anywhere near as confusing as the TGM book can be. While I have found TGM to be rewarding once you finally understand it, many golfers are turned off by the complicated jargon and Homer Kelley's style of writing.
The Web site says it teaches about 80% Snead and 20% Hogan. I really don't look at it in that nature as I have learned from probably more golfers than I can count with my instructor, George Hunt. From people like Nicklaus, Johnny Miller, Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, etc.
Here are some good examples of swings taught by M.O.R.A.D instructos in action.
And of course, Mac himself.

Ian Clark is an excellent teacher as well. I've had some of his students show me before and afters and was quite impressed.

Thanks for the info its really appreciated. I think I am always very skeptical towards teachers as I have seen many in the past and very rarely have I been impressed. Not sure what his teaching philosophy is but think I am going to book a lesson with Ian Clark and see how it goes!

Ian and Reeves Weedon are the only two GSEMs in England. Both good lads and Lynn Blake friends.
