I've been working on it as well. I think I can get more left than you are currently doing (but I had a 2 week head start), but I keep running out of right arm. I hit a lot basic and acquired motions and can do them quite well. The problem for me is convincing myself to 'let the right wrist go' instead of keeping it frozen because that promotes a right arm throw and I 'run out of right arm.'
I'll probably post up a Face On view tonight (couldn't get the DTL view since the range was packed today.

Its like part of it is ingrained fear to pull to the inside, Denny kept saying feel like you are trying to hit your foot and to do that you would have to clear but its just tough.
I hit those Mizuno MP-14's, for 7.50 a club they were dang sweet. I was a bit surprised as I still hit them every bit as high as my MP57's though the steeper TSP plane may have something to do with that and did not hit em side by side.

A friend of my dad's that I play golf with on Saturdays saw that I had the Hogans and he was hitting them as well and hitting them well (he's a 14 handicap). He then told me he might break out some 1966 Haig Ultra irons he has in his garage and may give them to me for free.
I recently hit the MP-14's as they had a set for $150 at the PGA SS, really nice club. They also have some Titleist 680 blades but the MP-14's are far better feeling.

I can't believe Manzella took down my "gmbtempe swing" thread. A thread one of his own mods created for me 4 months ago. I posted my swing sequence, all I did was state I was working with a darome/TGM teacher and post my thoughts just like I did on page 4 of this thread. That thread was a good chronicle of my swing since last September.
I have no idea if there were any replies or anything since yesterday afternoon when posted. I also posted a similar thread at Lynn Blake and he took it down, something odd is going on because at BM's I mentioned no names, and at Lynn's Denny was at one time a LGB contributer. Lynn also went apeshit on me when I mentioned VJ Trolio once.
I am not sure I can keep up with all the TGM political bullshit that is out there.

The one at Lynn's was probably my fault, was it the one where I lost it on you for the Anti right forearm on plane video by Jacobs? I should have just PMd you as you said... I apologize again. I'm surprised to hear he didn't want you mentioning VJ, I talk about him a lot. The video they did together was the best TGM material I have seen. I hope a rift hasn't developed there? I agree with you on trying to keep up with the political BS. I try to get along with everybody, except Brian. ;D Kevin

Kev,
No that was my bad and I understood and only remembered the part of the vid that pertained to the wrist movement.
One night it was very late and Lynn was helping me and I mentioned VJ, he went off to the point I was just sitting there like what just happened.
He then edited it slightly and made it sound better but it was still pretty harsh. I woke up and it was almost completely edited to be very bland. I only mentioned VJ in the context of a pivot discussion but he must have took it I was saying he was wrong or something, or he had a falling out with him, either way I have no idea why my innocent statement set him off.

In his PM he was very polite and offered his number to call him to talk about my swing. I just don't know why the entire thread was scraped, it had about 100 replies and couple thousand views.

I really enjoyed reading your progress. Your swing looks good. In defense to Yoda and Brian on the post on your site, it is pretty dangerous to talk about other teachers when you have a teaching site that you are promoting your work on. If Brian or Yoda made a negative comment about your pattern, Denny could take it the wrong way and major problems could ensue. It is really hard to blame those pros for being careful, which I think is the motivation. This site has no commercial basis yet, which is good. If a commercial site says something even slightly disparaging regarding a specific teacher, things could get pretty messy. Funny, fifteen years ago a Faldo drill for hookers on his video was hitting shots with the left foot pulled back from the stance target line at least forty degrees. I remember doing that at the range and just killing the ball. This seems to be what your new instructor is discussing. It is valid and in any event it works as evidenced by your swing. I checked out his videos and am trying some of this stuff too. Great feel, akin to Richie's post today about low and left with angled hinge.

I also think that Brian is probably a great guy (offline)!
I've had very civilized telephone conversations with him. However, his personality online can sometimes be problematic.
I have the same problem. I am very quiet and reserved in "real life", but overly assertive/bombastic online.
Jeff.

The left foot back is a drill we did to ingrain the feel along with pulling the left elbow in and left, they go together.
I hit last night. I am understanding why he wants me to work with a very strong grip right now because it helps to maintain that the wrists do not roll over into a CF release. I was struggle a little bit until I strengthened the grip even more and really felt like I was pulling the left arm and trusting it would go straight and not right which is really hard if you have always rolled your wrists into a CF release. It was like the more I trusted it the higher and farther the ball was going.
I have to give my left shoulder some time off, hitting down like this is new to my body and its actually sore.
I am not going to post any swing stuff on their sites, I will provide commentary but it won't have anything to do with my personal swing. I will at the Judas site because its not tied to any one philosophy.

Jeff. assertive, you....really? ;D Whats interesting is my instructor has definitely done seminars with Lynn and I believe went to see Manzella. He also went out and learned from Dana Dahlquist in an effort to understand the stack and tilt method.

As soon as his videos are not temporarily out of stock, I am getting one. Really unique thinking that makes some sense.

I like what I see and I appreciate the input form the folks here. I'm taking it to the dungeon later. I am wondering if some of what they are saying could be accomplished by trying to retain the relationship of the hands and right shoulder a bit longer in the downswing. It would probably mean a little more drive down with the right shoulder which I believe would result in a little more open left shoulder.
