i have the older model 919thi driver? is it time to upgrade the head? i have the nunchuk shaft in it.
i was hoping to reduce dispersion (at the cost of distance) but so far while i have definitely lost distance, i have not seen any reduced dispersion. previously using whiteboard s.
i'm an avid golfer, but with very limited skills. i'm extremely uncoordinated, and it's pretty much a miracle if i break 100. i have received lots of lessons over the years, but just can't bring it from the range to the course. so i am hoping technology can save me.
i took twenty swings on the monitor. ss 98-108, spin 2500-4000. balls go left if i'm quick and right if i'm slow? should i just change to a new shaft instead of a new head? if shaft change is suggested, what shaft?
any help appreciated. thanks much
ps-my favorite iron shaft is kbs tour 90 if that helps. i am using the nunchuks in my hybrid and there they seem to reduce dispersion.

I don't think much has changed with the 919THI outside of a different look. You may want to look at a different shaft rather than the Nunchuk. Its bend profile has an extremely stiff butt and extremely stiff tip section. I know I cannot hit a Nunchuck shaft to save my life and I generate about 108-110 mph of clubhead speed. By judging your liking of the KBS 90 shafts in your irons, I just don't believe that the Nunchuk shaft is an ideal fit for you. I believe it is a fit for long hitters who really crank it on the startdown and probably have very strong hands, fingers and wrists. I think we would need to know your clubhead speed, see a video of your swing (face on) in order to start to get an idea of what shaft you may need. 3JACK
