The Cowboys have now overtaken the Eagles in the NFC East. Although the Eagles had last week off, the algorithm is based on certain metrics and how the team is performing against other teams in the league. So, with the Eagles having a week off, other key teams like Arizona may have performed much better this past week and leapfrogged the Eagles.
The team to watch for now is the Packers who lead the league in QB Rating and are 2nd in QB rating allowed. That means they have a terrific pass defense and have Aaron Rodgers at Quarterback.
