Great article. I found it interesting that you didn't notice any significant correlation with apex height and wind effect (or at least didn't mention it either way). In particular, I would think drivers with positive versus negative angles of attack would see a difference in apex height and therefore receive more of a "effect" due to the wind. Attached which shows that wind speed increases expoentially with height. There wasn't anything in the metrics that showed any trend with Apex Height. I'm guessing you could theoretically get a long hitter who naturally hits it high due to their club speed and then they could keep the ball low on a windy day and/or hit the ball so far that it still provides them an advantage.
