Where did you find this one? $25 is a great deal. I want one.
On the loft and lie machine, my thoughts, I use one that my club has. I feel that buying a used one is a bit of a risk. Why? The one at my club is out of calibration (1-2 degrees on loft and 0.5 degrees on lie). I have to calibrate it myself with off the shelf clubs then figure how much it is off and then properly bend my clubs. By buying a used one it might be tough to figure out how far off it is out of calibration. Then over time your machine may become out of calibration and you may not know it.
Just something to be careful off.

I got the swingweight scale used off of eBay. I had been wanting one as before I would send them to a shop and ask to measure a couple of them (so they wouldn't waste their time measuring each one) and then go from there.
With a used lie-loft machine, at worse I could get a seperate measuring device for pretty cheap if needed.
The problem for me is that the closest lie loft machine is 20 minutes away, but they may take 1-2 days just to bend a few clubs. So I usually go to a guy that is 20 minutes from where I work (but 40 mins away from my home). Even still, with the way it's set up, I can't get the clubs until the next day.
I plan on eventually doing the line test to figure out my lie angles. I will probably in the end try out some new irons and see what I think. I'm pretty much down to Mizuno, Miura and Scratch's set of blade irons.

I saw these irons at a local Golfsmith for $90. Very good condition. The lie angles are standard (61* 5-iron). I was looking for a used set with a 38" 5-iron. These have them. But the rest of the shaft lengths are a bit off. The 4-iron is 39" long and the 3-iron is 39.25" long. But overall, I think it's a great deal. 3JACK

Just picked up some Srixon Pro 100 blades with S300 shafts, for $90 on eBay When I get them in the mail, I'll take some better photos. There's a couple of other sets I'm looking at, but I'm also interested in getting a staff bag, too. 3JACK

Nice looking clubs! Good deal with those shafts! They look like Mizuno MP-14.

Yeah, I'm happy with them. I was looking for an extra set of modern style irons with close to standard specs. I figure I can beat them around for now. And in the future when I'm looking at shafts, I can probably toy with a few shafts in them as well.

Here's where you guys get jealous. I got these beauties, considered by Mizuno afficianados to be the best irons that Mizuno ever made. I bought them for $175 There's some chrome loss in 3 of the irons. I've heard that these feel the best of any irons out there, so I'm interested in hitting them and if I like them I can always get them re-chromed. If not, I could probably re-sell them and make some good money. The shafts alone are worth about $250. 3JACK

I won't be receiving these irons until next week as I just e-mailed each seller for a tracking number and they had yet to ship it out. I will be getting a staff bag soon as an Xmas gift from my gf.

I ride a lot and my stand bag I usually have to search for clubs which is mildly annoying.

I had a titleist one for years but it got annoying for practice time and space.... Typically when I practice I just bring a couple of clubs with me instead of the entire bag. 3JACK

I use a staff bag for riding. I don't like the stand bags on the cart because the grips get all tangled up and the clubs don't fit well. The staff bag solves that problem completely. Plus lots of room for storage.
On another note, are the Mizunos MP-14 or MP-29?
