All comments welcomed. I took this video from my new Casio EX-FH100. Great camera. This was a 7 iron that I hit perfectly straight.

I like that action a lot.
Couple of question:
What do you struggle with out of curiosity? typical miss etc.
Does your left knee ever give you pain?

I struggled with a hook all my life until the D plane was explained to me. I haven't felt that lost, I'm going to hook it off the planet feeling in over a year and a half. No pain in my left knee ever. I have a herniated disc at my L5-S1 level. I'm good with my irons and have struggled with the tee shot all my life (bad attack angle). I consider myself a typical two planer. My hands go up when going back and I don't have to go left as much in the throughswing. I'll post a DTL version tomorrow. Nothing like a 10 year old complaing when asked to help his dad out for one video shot with Dad's new toy. Spoiled brat!!!!
I have my own personal range until they start building behind my house!!!

It might be the baggy pants. I thought something was off as well but couldn't put my finger on it. It's freezing in PA!!!!

You have a really nice pivot movement, everything from the face on looks great but the clubhead is late and you are losing lag pressure into impact and shortly there after there is some flip going on. Its minor, and pretty easy to time out but probably the difference between great ball striking and decent ball striking. I am wonder what the club might be doing on the downswing, if its getting below plane or if its out of position at the top.

DTL will be very telling, but from the FO appears that you're going to shift the sweetspot above plane slightly from staying in your forward tilt for too long and finishing the backswing by flexing the right arm a fair amount. The overtaking rate is "faster" (not necessarily too fast) because of the higher plane angle used, being a hair above plane, and also to get that thing coming around the curve, otherwise I can see you getting the baseline too far right.
What exactly are looking to be able to do? More shot variations? More consistent? Etc..You have a nice motion cwd.

I bet you score pretty well because your swing looks solid. Backswing looks orthodox up to the top.
At impact, your hands look centered between your feet instead of being ahead of the ball, which seems like a more standard position for an iron. I sure don't know enough to say how to change that though. Maybe more lateral shift to left on the downswing?

Here is the 7 iron down the line today along with my 5* driver that I crushed. The 7 iron was a little thin but straight.

For what it's worth. whatever problems you have are in your backswing. At p3 you are way inside -- maybe 30*; you then lift up. the end of the your backswing with both iron and driver are way across the line; your shoulder rotation is very flat. your shoulders at the top of the swing are pointing a good five or so feet outside the ball. the club is not tracing the target line at all on the backswing. on the downswing there is a lot good going on. you bring the club right down the right forearm plane and you turn rapidly and fully through the ball. if there is an issue it is that you lose your tush line a bit and get up on your right toes pretty early (by my lights). on the other hand, there is so much good in the action that you are just a few adjustments away from being an excellent ball striker. Hope this is helpful

I saw last night how I suck it in. Do you think I'm across the line to the right (when looking down the shaft line at the top)? I suspect my shoulders are flat because it hurts to bend over more and have them be more vertical because of my herniated disc. Good info!

I agree with T'Draw. There is a slight in-up-and-over, but nothing to write home about. You're going to hit a lot of good shots like that.
The word 'hernia' terrifies me.
