Hi guys,
First post. Long time lurker. I posted this on BM yday but wanted to see if anyone here had comments.
My personal thoughts are
1) I need slightly wider stance 2) Hips could be more open at impact 3) Have more axis tilt
Any comments are appreciated.

For what it's worth: I found the DTL the most revealing. I saw many things in the swing that I would work on, but it is hard to know what to suggest until I know more about your ball flight, trajectory, the nature of your misses, etc. With that said, here are some things that depart from the best motion you are capable of. Sequentially things look sound and your motion has much to recommend it, but 1. your takeaway begins by moving the hands away from the body. I think you want to keep you hands closer, the club outside your hands, etc 2. relatedly i think you fan the clubface open on the backswing. A stronger right hand grip would help both on the take-away and on reducing the overtaking rate on the downswing. 2. much else is good to p3 but after that your top of the backswing position is very problematic. you are across the line big time and there is a lot of wobbling at the top. it would be so much better to be solid at the top. to improve you have to get rid of that extremely cupped wrist position. 3. this sets up some problems on the downswing including a sweep release and a minor flip 4. your right knee moves to the ball rather than to your left leg.
That said, I think the pivot is sound and the motion itself is good.
Hope this is helpful. I am betting you hit a fair number of high right balloons Sorry if i am only making matters worse

Hi Tightdraw,
Thanks for the feedback. All the points you mention are things that I hadn't noticed before and give me something concrete to work on.
I would say that my most common ball flight is a mid draw (which sometimes turns into a low big hook- my main miss). I rarely slice the ball although I do hit it high and to the right occasionally (big push slice maybe 1 out of 25 shots). Perhaps my chicken wing is compensating which allows me to not hit too many high and right.
I went to the weaker right hand grip b/c I used to the pull the ball badly. I figured it was because I had a very closed clubface at impact. It solved my pull problems although I am prone to it here and there.
Thanks!

I played a round today focusing on:
1) keeping my hands closer (keeping my club outside my hands) 2) playing a stronger right hand grip 3) not coming across the top 4) moving my right knee towards my left leg instead of the ball
and I started hitting a majority of my shots high and right. I'll try to post some updated swing vids but any thoughts on what's causing this ball flight?

Not sure, but one thing occurs to me. If you had a hooking problem before and your grip change has slowed the overtaking rate, until everything is in sync, it is possible that you are hitting the club now with an open face (open to the path). I'd have to see ball positioning and whether you are hip spinning a bit. also vids may reveal whether what you feel today is real. Just suggesting.
Really isn't a surprise though that one would go from a hook to a push right at first when making these kinds of changes.
