I’ve received quite a few e-mails and PM’s asking about the Wishon clubs since I have a Wishon account.
First, I cannot just allow people to purchase Wishon components from me. That would not be fair to Wishon and quite frankly, I do not want to be bombarded by it. However, I am willing to assemble Wishon clubs at a fee, which I will get back to in a minute.
Second, I cannot give price quotes on Wishon on the forum or the blog. If you are interested in Wishon equipment, please PM me or e-mail me at Richie3Jack @yahoo.com for a price quote. I will say this, I’ve found that you can save up to 75% on Wishon irons compared to similar models from the leading brands. I also can assemble a driver, but since I’m not a deal for any of the shaft companies, I pay the regular price for shafts and the savings will likely be less.
Anyway, I am offering a FREE clubfitting advice service. There is NO commitment to buy anything from me. However, I do require the following:
- Accurate driver clubhead speed measurement, preferably from Trackman, FlightScope or this Swing Speed Radar device (http://probablegolfinstruction.com/SwingSpeed/swing-speed-golf-radar.htm)
- A view of your swing from the caddy view and DTL view, preferably with High Speed (slow motion) video
- Some static body measurements I will ask for.
Like I stated, it is free advice. I am probably going to start up a club making and fitting hobby in 2012. I already have 1 person who is going to purchase a set of Wishon 555C irons from me.
The goal is not to make a lot of money (nice thought, but not likely), but the goal is to take the money I make and put it back into the hobby so I can purchase new equipment (i.e. MOI matching machine, lie loft machine, shafts, etc).
I also want to improve my own clubfitting skills. I believe that a lot of clubfitting is flawed and only looks towards the very short term for a golfer instead of the long term for the golfer.
Lastly, I know that a big problem for golfers is being unable to demo clubs out on the golf course. So in 2012, I’m probably going to assemble 3 different Wishon iron heads (6-irons) and have them as demo clubs for forum members to try out for 2-weeks. The member would just have to pay for the shipping (which is about $15 - $20 both ways). If this is successful, I will attempt to do something with the Wishon 919THI driver, but that will probably require a deposit and credit card info.
PM me or e-mail me at Richie3Jack@yahoo.com if you are interested.
