Some really good stuff here.

He discusses the flaws in frequency matching shafts. He went over this in a column he did for GolfWRX. Essentially, frequency matching is matching the butt frequency. But if the tip frequency isn't matched it can produce 2 completely different ball flights.
Funny enough, I was discussing Wishon with golf pro Rob McGill at the PGA Show and he was thanking me for influencing him into Wishon and told me a clubmaker buddy of his uses Wishon frequently...particularly the shafts...because they are easy to frequency match. From my experience with Wishon, he generally makes his designs able to accomodate any type of clubmaking philosophy, but I have to agree with him on frequency matching. I used to be a big proponent of it, but no longer.
I do think that MOI Balance Index can better sniff out the random shaft that is a little off as far as QC goes.
Wishon is in the midst of examining the adjustable lie/loft phenomenon and talks about his previous experience with adjustable lie/lofts that he created for woods a long time ago. Personally, I'm rather skeptical about the claims that companies like Nike can change lofts by 4+ degree range.
He will also be having a massive update for the Bend Profile software. He claims it will be in early May, but I suspect sometime in June. This is something I've been waiting on since I want to see what my UST Mamiya VTS bend profile is like. I suspect the butt and mid-section are a pretty good fit for me, but the tip section needs to be stiffer.
Lastly, he will be altering the hosel in his 919THI model driver. It will be coming in with a softer alloy in the hosel to allow for more adjustability.
