I wanted to get peoples thoughts on my equipment. I recently went to the bridgestone ball fitting and got some stats doing the ball test and was alarmed by my high launch angle. Granted maybe I need to change my swing (I'm a 10 handicap) but besides that, is there anything to do? Here are my stats:
First ball with Pro VIx using my 983K with a aldila 75 stiff with 9.5 degrees of loft (first swings of the day):
ss- 108.4 bs- 154.7 la- 19.9 bs- 3043
then switched to the 330 ball
ss- 111.7 bs- 162.2 la- 17.6 bs- 2478
I've always gone with a 9.5 degree loft because sometimes I spray my tee ball a bit and figuired the extra loft helped there.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Do they use their own custom software to test for this stuff?

I'm not sure if it was their own custom equipment vs. a normal launch monitor.

Yea that seems awful high....of course with their ball the numbers are almost ideal which is why I never can quite trust them. Maybe you could be using an 8.5 degree. If you hit up 5 degrees or so then I imagine 14-16 degrees is about perfect for max distance.

Are your misses to the right?
An 8.5* may bring the launch down a bit, but it could also bring in a host of other issues and bigger dispersion.
Heck, I use an 11* driver and my launch angle is under 15*...

No, generally I hit a draw which sometimes turns into a hook.

Get on a Trackman or a FlightScope.

^THIS
If you are launching your 9.5* driver at an angle of 20* that means you are either swinging WAY UP on the driver (which is probably a physical impossibility unless you're using 6" tees) or opening the face up....
... either way I'd fix the swing before fixing the driver.

I've always wondered what Moe's AoA was when he teed up balls on a coke bottle?

Get on a Trackman or a FlightScope. 3JACK Ok, I've set up an hour on trackman for tomorrow. I've never used trackman, I know there are a ton of readings and data, any tips for a first timer?
