So I traded in a few old sets for a set of used of A4's a few months ago. Love the clubs, reg length (which is shorter for me) and standard across the boad. Only problem is they have Winn X-17 mid wraps on them. They have felt HUGE since day one. I usually put a ribbed golf pride multi compound thingy on there and pay out the nose for them. Don't notice much difference. I am looking for a suggestion for a regular old grip that I can experiment with for cheap. I have weird hands. Kind of small for a bigger guy, I like XL Cadet gloves more than regular? Long palms, short fingers? LIve in AZ so super sticky grips for sweat aren't really an issue. For some reason I feel that the smaller the better, but I don't know that for sure either. I am all ears.

If you want durable grips, I suggest looking at Lamkin grips. I felt an IOMIC grip on a driver the other day and it felt a lot better than I thought it would, but they are something like $18 a pop.

Thanks. I have felt the IOMIC's before and they are sweet, but too much for this hack at the moment. Good tip on the PURE, never heard of them before.
Much obliged gents. Thanks for the response.

Try these...my understanding is this is the company that owns the patent on the process that Golf Pride uses for it's MCC's. That is why you pay through the nose for them I buy these for $3 ea and have been using them for a couple years now. They aren't quite as thick as the New Decades, but for the price I think they are great. www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_SP0005

Thanks Rohlio, but I think might give those PURE's a go. Found a spot here in town that has the hole display and I can throw a few different ones on and test them out. If that don't fly, these sure like a good cheap option.

If you liked the Iomic you'd be happy with the Itomic by Tacki-Mac. I have one on my driver and love it. I had them on my last set of irons and loved them there too...
They are VERY tacki, great feel... and CHEAP!!!!! $3.50 per grip IIRC.

Man, I have been paying too much for grips for quite awhile? The last three suggestions all look good and are cheaper? Confused with choice. Thanks for the suggestions.

Man I missed that, too lazy to drive across town to check it out. After all that searching and researching, stopped by Van's and they had GP Tour Velvets for just under 3 with a 1 dollar install special. Couldn't pass, too easy.
