About to regrip clubs and love the feel of a rubber tacky grip and thinking about trying the 2g tiur wrap.
I realise they need to be kept tacky and a bit moist round the course to keep the grip clean but has anyone had these grips and share the pros and cons ?
Also my swing speed is around the 100mph mark, probably a bit quicker as was a year ago and it says these arent recommended for fast swing speeds. I emailed golf pride and the reply i got was about 3 words, basically they wld be fine he said. So why do they not recommend the 2g grips for fast swing speeds on the website ?
any opinions welcome

You can always try it on one club and see how it goes and do the rest later if you like them.

Yeah, I couldn't let you go 2 posts in a row without an answer. I have a difficult time starting threads myself. I've never used the 2g grips, so I wouldn't know. If you want to keep clubs tacky, usually I follow the company's Web site directions on 'clearning grips.'
One of the things I'll be exploring at the PGA Merch Show is the grips.

I have been using tour wrap for many years and I love them. I guess the new ones are a little different(more tacky) but I am still going to install the new ones this year.

I have been playing the old Tour Wraps for several years and usually change them each spring or even late winter. I started switching over to the new 2 G's last summer by just putting them on my woods. I like them just fine and will put them on my wedges and hybrids next. My irons are the new Wilson FG 62's and they came with Crosslines. I like those just fine and will leave them on for this season, most likely. I do find I need to clean the new Tour Wraps more often than I did the old ones. They also seem a little more tacky in colder weather which is a plus in Minnesota.
As for the FG 62's, they are my favorite iron ever.

I grabbed one of the 2G wraps at golfsmith last night. Very tacky, smooth feel.
How do they play when wet or sweaty?
