What do most like more about the new Miura CB-501 vs. the CB-202 (or is it all personal preference)? Easier to hit? Better miss?
It looks like the CB-501 has a little more offset. I've hit the CB-202 and my spin was lower than with the clubs I brought to test against. I suspect the CG is slightly higher in the CB-501 then the irons I used to compare (just a guess).

202 specs: 501 specs: I'm partial to MBs so I'd go without both, sorry...

Thanks. Hopefully someone has hit both and can comment on the feel and performance. I guess if you charge enough money the clubs inherently have a mystique about them. I'm partial to Mizuno but I'm a club ho just like most.

I've hit Miura. They make a nice looking club. They feel no softer than Mizuno, mainly because they both use 1025 carbon steel..
Personally, I would only consider purchasing Miura if I got to play a round with them and truly believed they were superior to Mizuno because otherwise I'm paying a good amount more for almost the same club. It's not one of those clubs that you can just feel the difference on the range alone.

cwdlaw 223 did you actually measure the spin using the LM?
I actually prefer the Japanese version Miura Giken cb 2006 ..
more forgiving and feels more solid

Yes. The spin was reduced by about 200-300 rpms on the 201s for me indoors. I wish I hit them off grass. I still love my Mizunos.
