Came by this today. A week ago I saw that Moe usually stayed in Titusville when he came to Florida for the winter and used to hit balls and play at Royal Oak Golf Club in Titusville. Thought this was made some sense since I wen tot hit balls a couple of months ago at Royal Oak and noticed this picture, tucked away in the pro shop This wasn't taken at Royal Oak (I couldn't imagine Couples, Faldo and Price coming to Royal Oak to watch Moe), I think it was taken at Grand Cypress or OCN. Anyway, the range at Royal Oak is a small one and they advise you not to hit driver because if you hit a house, you pay for damages. Moe didn't have to worry about that with his game. I've never played Royal Oak, may try and hit up in the summertime. I don't really expect much, but kinda neat to think that was the place where he spent countless hours reaching the zenith of ballstriking. 3JACK

That's really neat. The next time you're in the area can you steal the sign and ship it up to me?
Just kidding... kinda.

One of my college roommates thought it would be a good idea to steal a stop sign one day. Someone had hit the sign with their car and it was out of the ground. The problem for my roommate was it was 1pm, a bright sunny day, and he left the sign attached to the pole.
I remember watching him run across the quad with a 8 foot stop sign... he nearly made it the whole way across before being caught by campus police.
