I like the Fujikura's quite a bit, but I haven't tried many graphite shafts out since I've gotten back into the game. I really don't like the UST ProForce stuff. Diamana seems okay. The Matrix stuff I've hit indoors, but have yet to hit outdoors.

Just got a X-Con 6 in my R9 460 and I love the way it feels so far. It's got a nice smooth feel to it and produces a great ball flight for my swing.

Is that a low launch or high launch shaft?

Richie, I have an Accuflex Icon V2 in a 320 cc. head that I like a lot. Unfortunately, the company is no longer with us, but I thought all of their products were of very high quality. Great forum. Thanks for you work.

I got the Fubuki 63 tour shaft in that I-Mix deal that was crazy good last year (they gave me the tour hyper-x 3 and 5 wood for free) all for 429! Anyways I love that Fubuki, low launch and low spin and not boardy feeling at all. I have picked up distance with this club and shaft.
The three wood came with a Fujikura E60 shaft and it also has impressed me. It does not feel quit as reactive as the Fubuki but it produces a very penetrating flight which I need, I am not long enough to fly it onto par 5's but can get onto some with the roll outs.

I gamed the Fubuki in my FT9 last year and was not crazy about it. I felt like I was hitting it way too high. Did a little research and found a good deal on a Speeder 757. Went to the range the other day with it and man is that thing stout. Low line drives. Have to take it to the course though to see if I'm losing any distance by it going too low.

I have been messing around with some of the Adams Speedline drivers at PGA Tour Superstore and it definitely increases ball speed, I was longer with the club but it did not feel that great to me.

I could use a little educated information, please. I have a Nickent 3DX driver with an Aldila NV (green) 65 stiff (230-240) I hit it well for being 64 and ss around 90-95. I have a Nickent 4DX with a UST V2 Stiff seems to balloon and not get that much carry and no roll. I have a Comp NT shaft (R) I've never used and wonder it that would be a good switch for either of these drivers.

There is no industry wide standard for 'stiff', 'extra stiff' and 'regular flex' shafts. 2. We'd have to see your swing. 3. Have to get more dimensions. I suggest finding a place that has Trackman if you can. That is a superb tool for understanding what type of club you need. Here's a sample fitting done with Trackman. Regular flex sounds about right with your swing speed, but things like attack angle, vertical launch angle, etc may determine what type of shaft is good for you. I'd also be interested in the weight of your V2 shaft. Should say it right on the shaft. 3JACK

Thanks 3Jack. I know a guy that knows a guy that has a Trackman. I'll chase it down. I get your drift about the difference in S, R, etc. I had a Graf Blue that had an R on it, but it measured out at X. Then I put it in a bore through head and it actually worked great until I tried hitting it off the deck one too many times. I hit my longest drives ever with that combo.
