Anyone ever tried one? It sure looks like a "simple" way to hit greenside bunker shots. I like the idea of a dedicated SW and have used one in my bag on/off for a little bit now.

I always thought it was funny that Lagpressure talked about how GI irons and CB's were too easy to hit, yet wanted a SW meant just for the sand.
IIRC, this is where Martin Chuck got the idea for the Tour Striker.
If I got my hands on one, I'd definitely take a shot at it. However, it would have to be something I could hit from the fairway pretty well. Too many rounds where I never hit the greenside bunker.

All looks good, except......that sand looks really nice. My local goat track has half sand bunkers, and half are filled with a dirt, gravel, mud and substance. Using a ton of bounce in the pot holes masqurading as bunkers has usually = failure. If there was one sitting in a used rack somewhere though I would pick up and give it a whirl! Thanks for the link.
