I cannot watch anymore. With the pick of the Nevada QB I have this sinking feeling that Alex Smith is going to be our QB for next year.
The only good news is that our division is still very weak so we can maybe go 8-8 and make the playoffs.

I miss the days when teams would royally screw up their drafts. Mike Mamula comes to my mind along with Al Davis two years ago. He must have some new meds because the Raiders didn't do bad. I believe a lot of the bad teams had great drafts (ex. Bengals, Lions, Bills). It's still a crap shoot.

I miss the days when teams would royally screw up their drafts. The raiders not having a pick in the first round cut down on the possibility of this right out the shoot... I mean if we are going to have a Kicker picked in the first round it is going to be Oakland. That being said Carolina picking Jamarcus Young....errr Jamarcus Russell...Err Vince Young....Errrr.... Cam Newton. Is going to be colossally stupid. I mean unless they are planning on running plays like "62" with no audibles and no reads involved, I am pretty sure that is going to be hilarious to watch.

I think the draft could be better to watch if freaking ESPN would stop showing the picks getting a phone call before the pick. It takes the suspense out of the picks and makes it anticlimatic. Then we need for either the Jets, Eagles or Giants to have a bad streak of seasons along with horrible drafts. That would bring the draft back to the way it used to be 3JACK

It was so disappointing to know what he was going to say when he walked up to the mic. It seemed the equivalent of announcing the Heismann at the beginning of the show then having the ceremony.
