We are 1 month into this board being created and just wanted to get some people's thoughts on how they like the board so far or if there's any problems. Feel free to PM if you want.

In my opinion, very well!
I see you are putting together a sub-forum for your TGM concepts. I think that would be one of the most used references for introductory TGM anywhere. I would love to be able to send people to that forum who ask the best way to get started with TGM.
I'm a little one dimensional. Oh well... :-)
thanks, Kevin

I think so far it has been great. I like going to one site to discuss different swing theories. I hated going to golfwrx and fights breaking out. I am a fan of most TGM based teaching or principles ; whether darome or S&T or Lag's stuff.
Thanks, Nick

Yeah, this is a nice summary site for all the sites I like to visit, without the resident bias. A bit of a mix between TGM and non, which is good.
I hope we get a few more members over the coming weeks to widen the discussions.

I think its going great Rich, its a lot easier to discuss the golf swing here. I understand the reasoning Brian has on his site to limit conversation to his swing theory, same at LBG, its just hard to have conceptual discussions in those cases.
wrx is a bit of a waste of time. There are about 10 posters there who I would love to have here but they can keep the rest of the shit stirrers.

I like the posting of new blog articles before they hit the old blog. Also and as Nick and others say I think it's great that you can discuss more than one theory and have people willing to engage in discussions. I'd like to see even more of this - wider systems and methods shared and given a space to live and be read about. The only thing I'm going to pick you up on is your clearly US biased list of best golf swings of all times... come on man - have you never heard Nick Faldo hit a golf ball in his prime? ;D

Faldo's swing looked nice, but it wasn't overly dynamic IMO. He was accurate, but there were guys in his time that were just as accurate and longer. The difference between Faldo in his prime and those guys was his putting. He's a guy that gets ignored when it comes to putting prowess. I woudn't have an issue with him being named a top 5 putter of all time when he was in his prime.

However, I've watched many players in person and you know that when a pro hits a shot it sounds so pure...? Well I promise you Faldo's strike was even more pure - literally out of the centre of the screw in the centre of the club! Spectacular!!

I think you're doing a good job 3jack. Between the blog and the forum, I am amazed at how much information you provide. You have a real passion for golf.
I am a relative beginner, so I will not be contributing much to the technical discussions--just reading and learning. Again thanks.

richie, i thank you for the time you are spending here on site. it is good to have a site that is not self promoting. i still go to the self promoting sites, but have not found much interesting for quite a while. this site is new and fresh, with great people so far. keep up the good work.

The debate on here has been great so far. Its so nice to read through a topic without having to scroll down plus hundreds of '+1's, BUSTED!! etc etc.
I've found your blog to be a great source of reference for digging further in whatever direction you want - LGB, Manzella, Lag, S&T and so on.
How do you find the time?

I love the blog and I am enjoying this. I have to wonder, however, where you get the time and if you ever have fun.

Rich,
I too am amazed at the time you have but I won't talk because I spend an equal amount of time on twitter. I think this board is especially appealing to a very specific segment of people. The I like to learn and discuss but I know how to do it the right way where those watching can learn as well.
It's nice to have a group of like minded people.
