One of the cool parts in handmilling is that there is nothing pre-programmed and a lot of stuff on my putters is done on the fly. When this putter was cavity-up and naked in that area, I had an idea for a custom pattern for that blank canvas. It is still my 5-dot pattern, just over-lapping and in triplicate, LOL. The putter is for a great guy in No. California who has become a friend over the past few months. He has serious game, but like so many, has a job that keeps the bills paid and is fortunate to make a run at Nationwide events when they are close by and I would be he has a few skins games going on a regular basis. This one is 1018 Carbon steel and will look a little different after I put her back on the mill for some weight loss measures. I am going to trim up the shoulders a bit and get it to a more reasonable fightin' weight. Check it out and feel free to comment. Thanks, LaMont in AZ

I like the look, but it might be too close to this:

I had forgotten that Jeff had done that mark, but it had no influence on my doing the cavity on my putter. Besides, he used 9 circles, I only used 5........ :-). It really is similar, though, I agree. Money says this was the only time Jeff had done that mark and you can be fairly certain that this will be the only time I do it. That milling took far more time than I should have spent on it, LOL. Cool picture, though. Jeff has some talent, for sure. The first time I met him, he had a blade he had milled and I don't think he has done another putter, yet, that is as gorgeous as that one he showed me two and a half years ago. Knowing what I do, I'll take my design and be happy. Thanks for the note, though. Have an incredible rest of the week, LaMont in AZ
PS, I had a box dropped on my doorstep, yesterday that contains something orange with correct color stitching (hopefully) and done in Snap Fit.
