Course: Eastwood GC
Clubs: Titleist 690MB

Went to Celebration GC today to use their Trackman which they gave me 2 hours for only $75. But, that's because there's nobody there as their course is shut down for another 2 weeks as they have installed championship bermuda in their greens.
After that, I finally made it back home. God forbid I try to get some lunch at 2pm on a Saturday around I-Drive in Orlando.
Anyway, it was hot and humid. I've actually gotten used to it, but it's the sweat that drives me nuts. Course is very soft right now. Greens are extremely slow, probalby no more than a 6 on the stimp.
#1 - Good 3-hybrid down the middle. Followed up with a flushed PW to 12 feet. Just missed the putt and made par (E)
#2 - Push cut well right. Hit a very nice 3-wood down the left side. Hit a LW on and 2-putted from 15 feet (E)
#3 - So-so 6-iron onto the green. 2-putted nicely from abuot 45 feet. Man, had to crush that first putt and still wound up 4-feet short (E)
#4 - Ugly pull draw/borderline snap hook off the tee. Tried to hit the impossible shot and hit it O.B. Decided to play the next one safe. Hit on and 2-putted for triple (+3)
#5 - Nice driver down the middle. Something abuot this hole I tend to miss easy approach shots right. And I did here. But, got up and down and made par (+3)
#6 - Hooked a driver left. Hit a really nice 3-wood. So-so PW onto the green and 2-putted for par (+3)
#7 - So-so driver down the left side. Hit a PW onto the green...amazed how much it rolled towards the back, then I 2-putted for par (+3)
#8 - Over-draw left of the green, chip and a putt for par (+3)
#9 - Over-draw into the left rough. This was one of those shots that I was hitting at the end of my Trackman session...very light and easy, but just flushed it and you could feel a lot of speed. Lipped out the birdie and made par (+3)
#10 - Good driver, althought it was not on purpose. Pretty good 3-wood, pushed an 8-iron that went up by the edge of the bunker. Had a weird shot, but almost jarred it and made par (+3)
#11 - Good driver down the middle. Decent 7-iron, but the wind held it up. Chip and a putt for par (+3)
#12 - Hit a 3-hybrid off the grid. Had an impossible shot so I just tried to get it close to the green, with an uphill chip. Did that, and 1-putted for bogey (+4)
#13 - Good 3-hybrid down the middle. Flushed a 7-iron right over the flag. 2-putted for par (+4)
#14 - Ugly 7-iron that almost went into the water. Pitched on and 2-putted for bogey (+5)
#15 - Good 3-wood down the middle. Choked up on an 8-iron and flew the green. Great pitch to a foot and saved par (+5)
#16 - Pardon my french, but....CUT THE FUCKING BUSHES THAT ARE IN FRONT OF THE BACK FUCKING TEE.
I only nutted my driver and it clipped the bushes because you have a window to hit thru abuot the size of a smurf's fist and you still have to cut it. Thanks for taking 30 yards off my driver.. Hit a good 3-wood. Another LW that wouldn't hold and 2-putted for par (+5)
#17 - Good driver down the middle. Then a good 9-iron to about 12 feet. Good putt, but didn't break...man...slow greens (+5)
#18 - Saved the best for last. Bombed a driver here. 290 uphill on soft fairway. Hit a PW to the left part of the green and 2-putted for par (+5)
THOUGHTS: Had some struggles. I had a checklist of 5 things and sometimes I'd forget 1 or 2 of them. Good news is that the times I did it pretty well the shots were pretty impressive. The Talamonti in my driver, when struck well, does add distance. Hit the 3-wood well, too.
