I am proud to announce that PGA teaching professional and GSEB Denny Alberts is a member and contributor to our forum. Denny has just started working recently with loyal blog follower and board member gmbtempe who has seen tremendous strides in his swing in just 2 short lessons. Denny has a wide array of swing knowledge from extensive TGM and darome to S&T, Gary Edwin and Jack Kuykendall. His web site can be found at www.dennyalbertsgolf.comHere's Denny's bio from his Web site. Denny Alberts has qualified for the U.S. Amateur and was third team All American in Jr. college. He has spent the past 20 years full time teaching and studying the game of golf. Denny has worked with nine-time PGA winner Jay Hass, Tucson's own David McDanial-2009 Arizona State Amateur Champion, Canadian Tour player- Rich Barcelo, US Open Qualifier and Gateway Champion-Jacob Rogers, Junior Player of The Year-Alex Fernandez, European Tour and Senior player Bill Malley.
Education
Bachelor Degree - Psychology, University of New Mexico UNM
Denny has learned and studied from master teachers such as Jackie Burke, MOG, Homer Kelley, Lynn Blake and Chuck Evans. Denny is a Class A, Southwest Section, PGA Teaching Professional, obtained the level of GSEB "Golf Stroke Engineering Bachelor" of The Golfing Machine and also received certification as a Medicus Golf Institute Master Instructor.
Denny's golf library of Great Instructors and Great Players is unmatched.
How Denny Teaches
Denny uses the High Speed/slow motion Video cameras (60 to 1200fps) and thousands of dollars in teaching aids.
The first thing Denny will do is video your swing. Denny will diagnose your swing faults if any. Then, with the help of drills and teaching aids and constant video feedback, you will build a more efficient swing.
Most golfers cant readily identify their swing errors, and even if they could, they probably don't know how to fix them.
Denny has the knowledge and the teaching aids to accomplish this for you.Call Denny Direct at: 520-977-4891 or email: dennyalberts@gmail.com Denny, feel free to post anything in regards to marketing your services here. I am glad to see John Graham take initiative and start doing it in his thread.

The power of the CP release. This is one of Denny's students, David McDanial. I think Denny said he made it to the final 16 if the US Am a few years ago. This kid can bomb it and without even getting close to paralell. I don't have a good face on video but here is a compression photo

Greg
Where was he aiming?
On my swing analyser program, his ball was pulled left and his clubhead path appears to be slightly out-to-in through impact. Note the divots going towards that pole.

Jeff, There is a flag out there that would be just left of where he was aiming, my guess and its only a guess is that it was a little draw to that target (not a push draw that ends up straight). There is a flag at about 180 or so from there, probably a hard eight I have seen lots of people hit balls but not many compress a ball like David. He was warming up with a 9 iron in the bottom photo and it easily flew 155. Jeff have you ever thought about going out to see MOG. He sounds perfect for you, everything he does is precision and for a reason.

Greg,
There are a number of reasons why I would not consider visiting MOG.
I have heard that he resents anybody questioning his "expert" opinions, and I cannot resist questioning the reasons for any golf instructional opinion. I suspect that I would pester him with a barrage of questions if I ever met him in person. Secondly, I have heard that he is paranoid about people stealing his ideas and he doesn't want to allow anybody to publically disclose "anything" they learn from him. That is totally contrary to my personal philosophy - as I share any new golf instructional insight with my website's visitors. I would hate to be in the predicament of having a "new" insight that I couldn't share with my golf website's visitors.
Jeff.

Well sadly one of Denny's students, and a student of Mac's almost got one of the big ones. David McDanial lost in the finals of the U.S. Pub Links. This kid has a game of this quality, easily compresses the ball better than most of the Tour. www.usga.org/ChampEventArticle.aspx?id=2147488506

Denny,
Thank you for taking the time out of your day today to work with me and answer some of my questions over the phone... I have my homework, lol!
You certainly go above and beyond.
Much, much appreciation!

I saw that David missed the cut by 4 at the US AM. He shot some very respectable scores and looking at what some other people put up on those difficult courses I'd say he held his own... He certainly has a bright future in golf.

Still have the Mid Am coming up.

For putting, David Orr would be your man I'd think.
Did David work directly with Mac on his swing?
