Anyone play with both? I brought my high bounce wedges out tonight in the 60 and 64 lofts with no fat shots. I like a lot of shaft lean and steep attack angle with these high bounce wedges. I might pull my 3 wood out that I only hit about two times a round and put the 64 wedge in my bag. I could save 3-4 shots with better wedge play.
I know this might be a passing phase, but curious if anyone else uses a 64 wedge.

I find that two wedges, 52 and a 58, are plenty for me to hit a variety of shots. I prefer tighter gaps in the longer clubs because I find that I hit 2 and 3 hybrids a lot on the courses I play from the back tees.

I am about to eliminate the lob wedge, just not seeing a benefit to my game.

I just carry a 56*, my distance control sucks bad with the lob.

When I carried three wedges I just would confuse myself and pick the wrong shot to often anyway. By eliminating a decision I at least end up more decisive when figuring out how to blade it over the green or chunk it into the bunker.

I rank chunk shots up there with duck hooks. I enjoyed using the 64* yesterday and kept my hands way ahead (no flip possible) and hit down hard. I'm sure I delofted the club significantly.

I am about to eliminate the lob wedge, just not seeing a benefit to my game. I've just done it. Although I now have a specialist sand wedge in its place. I have a 64 and used it for a total of 3 rounds but unless you're a Pelz distance wedge disciple I can't see the point.

I'm only going to use the 64* wedge for shots of 50 yards or less. I can take a full swing, hands way ahead, hit down hard for a 50 yard shot with a 64* wedge. I tend to decelerate if using a 60* wedge with hands way ahead and hitting down hard for a 50 yard shot. This phase might pass, but I'm going to give it a try.
