Wanted to show you guys a different way of gripping the putter. This guy is a scratch player and was a very good junior player in Denmark when he began yipping everything around the greens. He started chipping one handed and cross handed which he is very good at now. When it came to putting he tried out everything and ended up with the grip in the picture. What I found interesting is that compared to other "yip grips" (Claw grip, Saw Grip, Langer grip etc.) he is actually swinging the putter from one shoulder joint instead of two which, according, to Stan Utley is sometimes much easier. This guy is now an average putter instead of being completely hopeless. Have any of you ever seen this before? Attachments:

Never seen it before. Crazy what people have to do to get rid of the yips.

Not that, but I found something from dirters called dynamic alignment putting which impressed me at the first view, so I had to test it of course. So joined Janne to play practice round yesterday in Turkey (don't ask about other part of the game ) and I made the guy laughing. First 5 holes I made 4 puts from 3-5m area and one lip out. Made also some from 8m and from 1 meter felt like tap in all the time. Total of 25 puts and amazing touch.

That is a cool grip.
I had the yips for a few years and it makes you want to quit mid-round almost every time you play. I finally solved mine. Whatever it takes for you do it. I don't care how weird it looks.
