I watched the preview again... I wonder if they will be going over a pattern for a ball that starts left and fades to the target, or is that just a "ball position/handle height" thing? I saw lots of push-draws on the vid. I don't have the video, but S&T teaches a 'push-fade' for those who want to hit a fade. Similar to how Trevino hit a fade. 3JACK

No longer S&T, or just different camps within the system? It seems to me, as an outsider, several are now more geared towards Mac? Kevin Btw, happy to see the reports of your demise are not true. :-)

Kevin Btw, happy to see the reports of your demise are not true. :-) I haven't heard much about the push-fade for awhile, but I haven't asked about it much either. I think I would question whether they are hitting the front side or the back side of the circle. George and I have not discussed a lot about working the ball. I know the basics when it comes to ball position and handle position and then the D-Plane and what we are trying to accomplish. I think for the most part we have worked on a 'stock swing' that will produce a mid-traj. window and will fly straight. Get those mechanics down first, then move onto other windows. I'll be going to him for a 1/2 day lesson on Saturday. 3JACK

It's a push-draw swing, essentially, because the push-fade you can hit with it simply tends to go too high. The clubface has to be opened too much. But it's just one swing, and so to hit other ball flights, things need to be changed. As others have done, we (Golf Evolution) have adapted and changed pieces to suit our students a bit more. We've shifted in our understanding of what's actually happening, how to explain it, and ultimately how to get students to achieve it. We've made allowances and changes to the single swing to allow different swing patterns. And for now that's all I plan to say on that.

How about push fade that looks like a pull fade? Huh? I mean there is action like push fade in body, but as body is so much open, the ball flights like pull fade.

Three right hands... but late enough. So I read that as "I don't know, but instead of saying that, I'll be intentionally vague or something." I'm not a fan of that game. Say what you mean, say it clearly, and let everyone discuss it. A push-fade in S&T has a very specific set of alignments, and those alignments don't include "the body is open so much."

They sent out an email last week as an apology for the delay. Promised a little bonus for those who stuck with them and offered a refund for those who couldn't wait. Sounds like another month to the release.

For those interested there is no longer a direct need to purchase the DVD's. Stack and Tilt now have the 'improvement portal' that is a monthly subscription service that provides access to all the DVD's SnT 1, Short Game and 2.0.
It may sound like a pitch this but for those not wishing to pay upfront this may be an option. I believe there is the option to a 30 day trial. Enter my name if you wish as a recommended by or in the message part. Mike Bygrave.
Genuinely not a product pitch but for those who were off put by the cost, feel free to take on the free trial.
