Friends of the blog, My Golf Spy, did a review on the Edel Devincenzo series putters. These putters are 'torque balanced.' I got to try them out at the PGA Show and talked to the man himself, David Edel, about them. He showed me that these putters just don't allow the blade to open. They are still designed to fit your eye and all of the other fitting features. Thought some people here would be interested. www.mygolfspy.com/edel-devincenzo-series-18-review/3JACK

I saw this putter at my fitting and it truly is balanced.
Am I correct it they will be Edel's first belly putter?

Am I correct it they will be Edel's first belly putter? No. We've been fitting people in belly putters for a long time. The only problem is guessing at head weight a little bit since they can only go to about 370g. I'm a bit puzzled because it kind of goes against the whole idea behind the Edel putters. If you can't aim the head shape of the Devicenzo just by adjusting the lines then you're out of luck.

iacas -
You can fit a person into a belly putter with the current system? I wasn't aware there was a belly putter head for Edel. You have a good point about the Devicenzo.

There's different DeVincenzo head shapes. I don't know how much they vary, but they do have more than 1 shape.
