I've played a 919thi (old black model, 9*, 43", Talamonti TourX shaft) for a long time now... It's got to be close to two years (maybe not, but it feels like it). When everything else in my bag has changed multiple times over this club hasn't. By FAR the bet driver/shaft combo I've ever built and played, and IMHO one of the best driver heads ever created. Tommy boy nailed the design on the 919... it's perfect. EDIT: and I had my 919 WAYYYYYYY before R3J.

I think the OEM heads are pretty good. You've got ones that are adjustable. I think Wishon will make more of an adjustable 919THI head in the future, particularly with the head weights. In his fairway woods and hybrids they have a weight port which makes it much easier to MOI fit. I asked why they don't have one in the 919THI and Wishon told me that they tried it but the noise it made was unacceptable, so they kept the design the same.
I've seen the 739CCG and it's a really great looking driver with the ultimate in adjustability. I think the 919THI in about 3-years will be like that.
I prefer the Graduated Roll Technology. Allows you to hit if off the deck and control the trajectory better. When I hit it well, I really bomb it.
The key is finding the right loft and then the right shaft. Most people think it's all about the shaft, but if you don't have the right loft, you're way behind the 8-ball.
