I haven't used the Cleveland 16. I have the new Reg 588 Cleveland with 16* bounce. I like the head, although it's a big head. I'm not too nutty on the shaft (Tour Concept). I think it's really good around the greens and decent full swings. I'm probably going to go back to my Edel 56* and try to work out the issues I had with some of the distance.
I was told that Vokey makes almost every wedge on Tour with much more bounce than what Titleist sells on the market, but supposedly Vokey has said 'I don't have any control over what bounce Titleist produces in retail stores.' So you may want to look at playing with more bounce, whether it's an Edel wedge or not.

Some follow ups on this well I bought a 588 Forged 54.12, with tour concept . I just have to say, the shape is 2 thumbs up best one ever. However the impact is somewhat clanky with range balls but they are alright with premium balls, its probably the shaft . Spin wise , i would say pretty darn good against non conforming titleist . Grind wise , . i would say MID BOUNCE .. a little diggy for a 12* . I regreted a little and i think titleist 54.14 might work a little better for my needs . also bout SM4 64.07 . Black Nickel. I prefer the 588 shape better. Pretty fun to use . and very consistent trajectory for me. I am very suprised how T grind is great both on hard PAN and soft turf . Incredibly versatile. Pretty Soft feel compared to "forged 588" wth I had revisited the SCRATCH SFU 58 non conforming with DG spinners. but using it with more wet areas . Trajectory is super consistent and the spin is unreal. but ... it destroy the turf . I prefer being a "picker". I would say overall SM4 is better than 588 clevelands. 1. Offer more choices of grinds 2. feels better and DG s200 is still the gold standard imho. I would want to see more of Scratch. IE other grinds besides SFU . I think it will be very interesting. Incredibly accurate , would be interesting with EDEL . now i know what scratch can do
