Walkabout GC (my new home course) had a small demo day that I attended. It had Callaway, Mizuno and Wilson on hand.
Out of the irons I probably hit the Mizuno MP-69's the best. I hit the MP-64 3-iron very well. They put me on a shaft optimizer and had me at all X-stiff shafts (KBS Tour, Project X 6.0 and DG XP X100).
I didn't like the Mizuno wedges. I recently switched back to the Edel SW. I have kept the Edel LW in my bag the entire time and I have been playing awesome with the Edel SW. So the Mizuno wedges just feel crappy to me.
I tried the Wilson FG blades and the Wilson FG Tour cavity backs. I liked the FG cavity backs better. I just don't think the FG blades are that great of a design. I would hit the blades flush and they just didn't react well. The FG Cavity Backs feel pretty good.
I think people will like the new Wilson drivers coming out. The head feels fantastic. The stock shaft is a Matrix Ozik shaft. Hit the hybrids too high. Wilson will be coming out with a new wedge that they haven't even given their reps any info about. Supposed to be unveiled at the PGA Show.
I hit the Callaway irons. From the Razr X blades, cavity backs and the new Razr Hawk (IIRC) irons. I liked all of them. Didn't really care for the driver. The put a Motore shaft in there and when I hit it well, it went pretty nice, but I think the club's MOI was too high for my swing.
I would highly recommend trying the new Wilson driver though.
