So someone on Bman land dares if people can put a negative spin on flipping for this adorable kid. I signed up for it in a instant. He is flipping big time and for his age, he is flipping beautifully and with great talent.
Also, the poster of that YT video, calling it the best pee wee swing, is fantastic. Everyone needs a helping hand, especially youth. More adults/parents should take interest in the youth like this guy by actually spending time with them, nurturing them, guiding them, listening to them, talking with them and letting them be.
If flipping to the kid now is a fun way to hit the ball far and straight, be all you can be kid! It actually helps him to fully release his body and appreciate what max speed feels like.
It will be an interesting exercise if the YT poster can keep up with posting the kid's progress going forward, say, in 5 years, 10 years and 15 years.
I anticipate to see more development and refinement of his swing, as the skills of swinging to a particular target become a premium. As his core muscles strengthen up, this kid may have the natural tendency to flip less without even any teaching. Or, he may indeed needs some coaching. In other words, with good body mechanics from stronger lower limb/hip area, flipping will fade away, unless he relearns from watching Bman videos:). He will find out for himself from watching other juniors in competitions that the only way to stop the ball on the green with good control is using forward lean, hitting down and going ABNORMAL
I was going to say something about adults who actually play this game and look for inspiration from this kid on flipping, then I tell myself never mind
