www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/834463-forearm-rotation-needed-or-not/I just like to thank Daniel Carraher for all the informations . Absolutely fantastic information inside this thread. regarding steepness and shallowness AoA. needless to say i applied and my God , thank you. my irons and driver was controllable at last I always , always ! either can play Driver well or irons well. now with the adjustments , I can hit both of them well.

Yeah terrific info from Dan/Iteach. The PA3 info was priceless, a few over there got schooled by Dan, but they didn't want to learn from someone that knows his stuff....their loss.

its nuts because for me
either I hook my irons off the planet but doing well my drives ( Low PA3)
or irons shots that simple too little spin and goes too high ( low Pa3)
or good iron and slice driver ( high pa 3 , squarting too much)
thanks for u tube,,, thats pretty interesting

Interesting discussion. Contrary to what some people think of TGM when they read about the 3rd PA accumulating and releasing, the proper way to "swing" (and I use that term in TGM sense of the word), is to have minimal, or zero, forearm rotation on the downswing - just as described in the above videos. The reason being it disrupts Rhythm- the holding of all rotating components of the swing to the same RPM. By releasing the 3rd PA on the downswing, "rolling" the wrists anticlockwise, you are increasing the speed of the clubhead, but also increasing its RPM relative to the rest of the swing. In 2-C-1 Mr Kelley describes the "Swingers Hinging" - dual horizontal hinge action. He says "This is designated the "Ideal Application." It produces perfect Vector alignments because the Angled Clubshaft and the Closing Clubface (the "Full Roll" of Horizontal Hinge Action - 7-10) are rotating around the same centre...." The clubshaft and the clubface both rotating around the same centre.... That centre being the pivot. Just as shown on the above videos. If you were to roll your left wrist, releasing the 3PA on the downswing, you would be rotating the clubface around the centre of your left wrist, no longer the pivot. An interesting revelation for some, but old news in TGM world
