I'm planning a trip up to China to play a bit of golf later this year. I've played a couple of the Mission Hills courses before, but we are looking at sorting out the Norman and the Pete Dye ones. They have played pro events there including the World Cup, but if you have never heard of the place, is worth checking out the website: www.missionhillschina.com/shenzhen/information-level/golf/golf-courses.aspxOkay, the courses aren't all great, but the scale of the place is mind-blowing. You get buggies and caddies as well. Is a bit weird. You have to stick to the cart-path so when you stop, the caddy grabs some clubs and wanders over to your ball with you, barks out a yardage and then you send her back to the cart for the right club. There are some pretty big slopes around (it is not called Hills for nothing) and we've been pretty close to losing the odd caddy before.
