Several years ago I purchased an Aeromet driver head from Steve Solo at Advanced Golf Technologies. At 320 cc's or so it was a little smaller than most but it was like hitting the ball with a hammer. I bought another head so I could have one head in a very stiff shaft for windy days and one to put on a little softer shaft for those days I could let loose a little. Then they came out with the Aurora, a 460 cc head. It only came shafted and way more money than I wanted to spend. They are now out of business and selling off stock. You can get a head for under a hundred bucks. It comes with a Paragon Lite Touch shaft, one of the worst ever produced. I replaced it with an Accuflex and it is a very good match. If interested, contact them through their web site <advancedgolftechnology.com> and take a look. I think the head is an excellent component. I also purchased the Aeromet 7 wood and switched shafts right away. It is also like hitting a hammer like the old driver.

New driver on board. I had a Nickent 4DX for the past year or more that I just could not keep from hooking even though it is the Tour head which is neutral or even open. I took the V2 shaft out of it and replaced it with an Aldila NV 65S and cut it down to 43.5". I have gained distance as well as accuracy. Oila!

Amazing what a shaft change can do. 3JACK It does, dont think people realize it unless they can put in the time to try out all the combinations that are out there. Thats is pretty cool about my Imix head, I can play with lots of combinations to see what works best.
