great swing, definitely looks better and it helps to have good video.
Have you always rolled the club post impact like that? (looking at it on frame 33 and frame 90 it points to the ground). I have no idea if that has any impact on the swing its just something I notice.

Yeah, I've always had a shut face on the follow-through. Mainly I think this is a result of my hinge action post impact. Most players do a "re-c0cking" of the wrists where I am still throwing and rolling. Its because of my emphasis on the roll during my release.

That's interesting. How are you opening the face on the backswing? Are you just rotating the clubface sooner / feeling the backswing start with the toe? Is there a risk of getting the clubhead inside too soon? Would be interested to hear how you are going about this... And how does it feel through the ball? It is possible to open the clubface without taking it inside, but even then I'm not sure it matters. What matters is getting the club into a position at the top where you can deliver the club. What I think the "rolling forearms" early does for me is keep my elbows closer together going back with my right arm under the shaft. This helps give me a "pitch" elbow on the way forward and for me an automatic release. Great stuff. Thanks for the response. Makes sense that rotating the forearms more will open the face and that will mean the right elbow is lower than the left, the right arm is more under the shaft (as opposed to being pushed out the back) and the shoulder turn should be more level - in short, less of the typical 'rock and block' shut clubface move.

Well I played yesterday. Shot -1 on the front with 3 three putts It's a testament to how much better my iron game is. I was consistently putting myself in reach for birdie, just not making them. Obviously I need to work on my putting, but I really feel like my putting is WORTH working on now. Before I would average 30 putts a round simply because I'd be making so many up and downs. Now a 1 putt equals a birdie instead of a par. Overall I hit 16 or 18 greens, and 9 of 12 fairways. The two greens I missed were both on the fringe and the 3 fairways I missed were just off the fairway. Too bad I had 37 putts total and ended up with a 73.

Sure! I only have a handful of guys I play with. Would be great to have someone to hit the links with more frequently.
I was at Coldwater. My new home course in Avondale. I live up in Glendale now and by the looks of your nick, you must be in Tempe.

Yea, I live by Ken McDonald in Tempe. I play anywhere though. Played Firerock on Thursday and Greyhawk on Friday. Lucked into free rounds, cant beat that!
Greyhawk was a dog track, very disappointing the condition of that course, imagine some people were paying a c-note for that on Friday.

Yeah they can get real run down during the summer. It's amazing that the same course will charge $200 in December and $20 in July.
