Where should lead tape be placed on woods to increase the swingweight? Thanks

Depends.
Just like drivers with removable weights, lead tape can effect how the face closes through impact. If placed on the toe it will close slower, on the heal just the opposite...
My personal preference for increasing swing weight is to place the lead tape on the bottom side of the shaft starting at the ferrule and going up towards the grip. You can't see it from address, it doesn't mess with face closure, and it works just fine. I also feel (but have no scientific proof) that placing the tape there has less of an effect on shaft flex. The more weight added to the club head, the more weak you are making the shaft.
