Shot 76 today at Eglin AFB's Eagle course in Niceville, FL. Played from the blue tees, tips. Hit my irons really well today, ABS is giving me a lot more confidence. Could have easily shaved a few strokes off this score with 3 birdie putts missed under 10 ft, and the back to back doubles. This is my career best round and my first time breaking 80 from the back tees anywhere as opposed to the junior tees when I was 16 (79) on a much easier course. Eglin is kind of a tough track with lots of elevation, and a few par 4s that I cannot reach from the back tees that play into the wind. 9/14 FIR 11/18 GIR 31 Putts 4/8 Scrambles 1/1 Sand saves

Brilliant stuff slice... soon you'll be giving up the tennis for golf! :-) Having seen your swing though, I'm not at all surprised that you've now broken 80 comfortably... it had to come sooner or later.

Way to destroy your previous best. Improvement does seem to come in leaps and bounds rather than a steady crawl.
I'm impressed with the two birdies following the two doubles. That's tough to do, especially considering how hot you started. That's usually the point that I crumble.
