I'd like to recommend if we want to make continue to make arguments, we should get some photographic/video evidence going here. I actually like this thread so far, but I think it would be best if we start showing video/photo evidence so we can continue to progress the argument of the thread. Otherwise, we'll just keep arguing the same thing over. 3JACK Attachments:

I saw NO cut off finishes. I won't pretend to know your definition of "cut off," but Luke Donald has to be pretty close to it. It's certainly a far cry from someone like Ryo Ishikawa. Tiger might be close at this point as well. FWIW, this is the most recent video of Tiger's swing. He posted it to his Twitter page yesterday: yfrog.com/jwiqgz

Just guessing Kevin but I think this is the kind of post Richie was saying he DIDN'T want to see in this thread. Dave He said "everyone else" like BM was the only one who felt that way and I was just curious who everyone else was. It was a very non threatening post.

C'mon guys. Let's get back on topic and start supporting opinions and claims with photos and video evidence.
Let's put our feelings and egos aside and whatever somebody has done or said to somebody in the past aside.
I think everybody would benefit from explaining their viewpoint and 'resting their case' that way instead of arguing.

Ya know BManz...your a top 100 guy now...how about becoming more of a statesman in the game, instead of a grenade thrower...You know when you'll get respect? When you stop blowing out other people's candle in order to make yours burn brighter--or try to, anyhow. And that goes for your posse, too, who descend on sites, like this tread. I'll go on record right now, as saying I think your going to find that "Your" science will be limited to the "scientists" you surround yourself with, and you'll waste alot of time going down the wrong streets, without coming up with anything definitive...

and the question i asked earlier follows.....who are you guys parroting?....no one has an answer...if it's robert grober, then say robert grober....if it's (MOG) or homer kelley - say it....of course, kelley had no references and o'grady has yet to publish - a damn shame if you ask me

Finney...never forget...you are NOT adding to the knowledge base...you are incapable and unqualified to add a shred of scientific information...and you rely on others for EVERY piece of information that you assimilate...hardly qualifies you as an authority on anything...a scribe maybe, a parrot definitely, but an expert...hardly....

Why does this silly chest thumping Peacock strutting have to take place every couple of months or so?
Go teach some people to play golf or something, the arguing is childish and obnoxious.

*******PLEASE READ*******
Okay, from here on out on this thread, we need to have civil responses and LET'S STOP ARGUING.
If you have a problem with whomever, take it to PM or e-mail.
If you want to refute somebody's claims:
1) Make your rebuttal 2) Back it up with pictures/video/references/etc
Next post that violates, I'm locking the thread down.

Some statistical food for thought:
The following two players were defined as having 'undynamic' swings on BM's site: Charlie Wii - average driving distance 287 Jamie Lovemark - av. DD 288
The following 2 players were defined as having 'dynamic' swings:
VJ Singh - av. dd - 288 Rickie Fowler - 292
Consider too Adam Scott: average driving distance 287. David Toms - 274
If these guys are truly 'dynamic'/the 'limited' pivot guys are undynamic, surely they should be knocking it miles past them?

2011.masters.com/en_US/scores/scorespop.htmlwhere did Wi and Lovemark finish? Fowler t38, Toms t24 and Scott t2. I am pretty sure you can throw out the tour driving stats. The second cut at augusta is not a penalty, and they only measure shots in the fairway. There is no way you could watch the final round and not see that the guys up the leaderboard were killing it. Scott, Day, Rory, Cabrera, Palmer, Rose......Oh and that guy who won the thing, pretty dynamic looking as well.

current and hasn't richie's statistical analysis shown david toms' swing as being halfway decent? i would leave him out of your comparison for fear of statistical reprisal
