First of all thanks for all of you for the interest and specially Jeffy for sharing the first information.
So first of all some basics of Our system. I try to be understandable even english is not my native language.
The system got 8 high speed machine vision cameras synchronized and running at 170 fps speed. 4 of them in upper corners, face on, top, down the line and back of the player. They are same kind of cameras that are used in industrial processes. There is also special LED lightning and many has said it looks like solarium
There is nothing attached to the player, only one orange wristband to recognize the left wrist. So it's sure players can make their own natural swing there.
Those cameras feeds two computers with images and then our special algorithm starts to put those 8 images together and make real 3D-model of the players body and the club. After creating that model we recognize all the "joint points" and give them x,y and z coordinates for each image.
So the rest is pure math and my work has been to create those graphs, how to put it out and what and how to measurements are written out.
To get some idea how much there is those, you can try to figure the swing out from here
We also save three videos; face on, down the line and top down, and those can be viewed synchronized together and also in sync with graphs. So for example we can prove from top down video if the players shoulders are really open or not and if the measurement fits to the video. it does.
3rd tool there is the 3DScene that can be freely rotated and seen from every angle. For the moment there is no body, but only hand and club head path and club. In the future it will be possible to choose whatever joint or some joints to follow also that way in 3D space.
So after measurements are done, all the data is saved to our central server, and it can be accessed 24/7 via internet with normal browser by anybody who the player has gave the rights. So for example players coach can be in Australia and player in US, and in 5 minutes after the shot both can see the same data and videos. And of course you can share your shots also to friends or add multiple coaches who can see all your shots.
So every shot is saved there, so players all the history can be accessed same way.
This year we also integrated Flightscope to our system, as the system is for indoor use, we can have better data of ball flight and better information about the club head.
What else... so many things to tell, but I think its better open this thread for questions and I try to give my best answers and also put here some demonstration videos later on as they give much better view for the device.
Our web page can also be visited at www.4dswing.com and there is also nice interview here by 21st century business news
So lets go on here and I try to give good answers of device or what I've found of golf swing during the years
