I'd just keep working on it for now. Get it down well, then we can move onto something else. If you don't ingrain stuff and then move onto the next thing, it can be bad for your game.

3JACK, Am having trouble with getting my left shoulder to turn down. The Snt book says to turn your shoulders steeper you need to lean left. I find when i do this I have to much weight on my front foot. What would you focus on the help steepen your shoulder turn? trying to get your left shoulder pointing at the ball?

I'd like to see a video of your swing with the weight too much on the front foot.
Also, what I would do is do some video of yourself S-L-O-W-L-Y taking a backswing...almost like you are going purposedly in super slow motion....where you focus on steepening your shoulder turn properly.
So what I would do is do that, check the camera and see if you did it right. Once you see it on camera that you are getting the steeper shoulder turn down correctly (even though you are doing it in super slow motion), I would then go back and continue to do some super slow mo backswings with the shoulder down. From there, I would keep doing it and really try to feel what happens when you are making that swing. Do you feel something with your weight? Do you feel your spine going somewhere? Do you feel your shoulders doing moving in a particular way?
I'm a firm believer that you learn your mechanics first. Then you try to get the feel from those proper mechanics. The feel will allow you to repeat the good mechanics.
For instance, you *may* feel like when you have that steep shoulder turn that you feel like the left shoulder turns down at the ball. So you think to yourself 'turn the shoulder down at the ball' and when you do that, even if the feel 'isn't real', you'll get the mechanics you want.
This is learning feel from mechanics. I cannot really tell you what to focus on because my feels may be completely different from the feel that you would use to get that steeper shoulder turn.
So again....mechanics first (use camera or mirror) then get the feel from there.
You get the concepts of learning feel from mechanics down (instead of the other way around...learning mechanics from feel) you are WELL ahead of the game into having a good golf swing.

I think you're swing looks entirely better. Looks like you're hitting the ball much harder as well. But I can only see the motion of your swing. Can't really see the alignments from that camera angle.

what do you usually shoot? I think that's a good motion. I usually shoot low to mid seventies on a super easy course, but my ball striking really hurts me, am pretty consistent with my driver but I don't hit it really far, I make alot of pars and not alot of birdies, am scrambling alot and i don't have many great chances for birdie since I don't hit my irons the greatest.

I will get a better on tomorow. AM also looking into getting a casio fh-100 for better videos of my swing.

I think if you are serious about the game you have the type of ability in your swing to get pretty decent.

That is really good, the alignments are super. I watched one of your first videos and man that is night and day better.
I think you have a such a good motion that its some little things you could work on. I think you hips could turn a little more which would improve your knee action. I think the foot action needs a little work.
You have a chance to be a really good player, not many people have the athleticism and alignments that you do without a lot of instruction (guessing you have not had).

I did have some instruction because I work with a golf teacher for a little while, but stop working with him because i did not see much improvement. And he also wanted me to roll my wrist at impact to relese the club which is not the best thing to do. there is not many instructors in my area so i doubt i well ever find one with a good knowledge of TGM, new ball flight laws, etc.
I hope I become a really good player like you say I can, I play golf every day tell winter and then I cant play for like 5 months.
I think my swing is missing some power because I only average about 240 off the tee. I also hit my irons really low I wish I could hit them much higher.

I think you would be best off swinging like Mickelson or Bubba Watson, which is an older school swing but very long and athletic. I think your power would increase with better hip turn and footwork. You have Tiger Woods hips, the hardly turn, you can see how your right leg bows a little because the hips are so stationary. Have you watched any of Shawn Clements stuff on Youtube, particularly "x out the x factor". You have pivot issues more than plane issues, IMO.

Your extension of the arms in the follow thru is beautiful. Not many get that. DO NOT change that. That component of your swing is world class, IMO.
I agree a lot with gmbtempe. The only suggestion I could give you for instruction is to perhaps find a really good teacher that will do an affordable online lesson program with you.

Also I watched your video on footwork and you mention how you should never roll over your foot. I roll over my left foot all the time in my follow thru my foot even starts to get sore sometimes.
