Damn.. why Lifter is not here to ask that vertical hand path question where we really could talk about that. I once again got sick reading BMan's comments in his own forum that he gonna vomit and hates to even read his own forum.

Switching back to the topic of this thread, I've noticed a shift in practices at Manzella's. In the past, Finney, Shields or others might make an intemperate post that reflected poorly on Brian and those posts would quickly disappear. Now, that doesn't seem to happen and Finney has even doubled down on Willerson's original post. Brian is acting like he doesn't care what's on his forum anymore, which I can understand from his perspective. His gig of dolling out videos for $20 a pop dried up with the "New Release". People are on to his bullshit, so he says as little as possible on any substantive topic to avoid looking foolish. For example, he has adopted an instructional approach ("torques and forces") that completely avoids any discussion of biomechanics and how you'd actually do anything. He seems happiest as a performer for Golf magazine: doing superficial videos or providing filler for so-called "instruction" articles ("Sergio has one of the ten, no five, best swings of all time!!!"). Brian has said "big changes are in the works", which to me suggests some sort of subscription-based or pay-per-view site (good luck with that!). The old format is going away, so maybe Brian is letting the kids scribble on the wall before it is knocked down to make room for the new addition.Told you...

I never realized one post would get so much traction at multiple sites. I, personally have never been in a conversation with Brian that focused on anything but my golf game or making sure that the site runs smoothly. Greg has taken shots at Brian's site and I do think it is disingenuous to go there and then proceed to bash somewhere else
I am certainly not some hillbilly lemming. Brian was simply the first person itook a lesson from where I got better. I've taken a lot of lessons from John Dochety too and consider him a great friend.
Btw, Rich I enjoy your posts on stats and how it relates to scoring and hopefully we can bury the hatchet.
I know I'm late in replying to this, I rarely go anywhere but the FB group, golfwrx and Brian's site.

Not a big deal glcoach.....though I have NEVER seen a post by Greg that as you say "Greg has taken shots at Brian's site and I do think it is disingenuous to go there and then proceed to bash somewhere else " Unless you count questioning and disagreeing bashing...

I'm going to lock this thread. I've spoken to glcoach (Jared) thru PM about this.
While many ardent Manzella supporters may not believe this, I personally try to stay away from discussing Brian. When I banned Finney from here and refused to ban Jeffy per Brian's request, I told Brian that I really though they were wrong for the way they treated me since I had constantly promoted his work on my forum and blog and looked for nothing in return except for courtesy. Brian's response was that I only did that because I was trying to generate traffic to the forum and blog (neither of which I make money from.
So my feelings have been that I'm not going to lift finger to try and help promote Brian's work because he clearly feels like I have some greedy agenda in doing so.
But by the same token, I really don't like censoring people's thoughts on the game in this forum. When I delete threads, it always has nothing to do with the actual part of the game. And I refuse to delete legitimate criticism of Brian's work because I would refuse to delete criticsm of the Hank Haneys, Jim McLeans, Butch Harmons, Kelvin Miyahira's, TGM's, S&T's, 1 Plane Swings, etc. of the golf world.
If you don't want to deal with criticism, post in the Teacher Folder. That's why it's there.
Anyway, I have painted too many people over at Manzella's forum with the same brush or at least it has come off that way to them.
I simply expect the typical suspects to continue to act in the childish and unprofessional manner that they act. I will do a much better job of not lumping everybody over there together.
