A long-overdo addition at The Land of the Blind!: an "official list" of undesirables who everyone is free to ridicule and insult. You should have one, Richie!!!

Can't believe this?? Can they really go this low?
At least we are here and if they want to defend, they are free to tell here their opinions if we are wrong. To make that there and maybe for people who can't be a part of discussion is something... I don't even say it..

I don't feel the need to tell the world whom I do and do not trust.
But, I really take umbrage with their gripes against Greg (gmbtempe).
He is nothing but an amateur that has been nothing but polite, patient and willing to understand all teacher's/teaching philosophies viewpoint. If he disagrees with somebody like myself, he does so in an understanding manner. He doesn't give me problems on this forum and the only forum that seems to have a problem with him is the Manzella board.
I can see being skeptical of coach (Lloyd) as he is a professional and one could look at that as competition. But, he's another guy that has never given me an issue on this forum and I've never seen him be a problem anywhere else.
And I don't find them to be a problem on Manzella's board either (unless there's something I don't know about) other than that they are not completely blind lemmings.
There's a fine line on forums like this one because many professionals and experts are giving up their free time and information and if they get criticized every time it's reasonable for them to be upset by that. That's why I created the Teachers Folder. But OTOH, it's hard to sit back and not make criticism of something you are certain of is dead wrong.
That's something that a moderator has to deal with and figure out how to best handle it.
I just think that the internet message board world needs more gmbtempe's and coach's instead of trying to shoo them away.

Your 'blind lemmings' reference is the exact thing that pisses people off.
A while back, I saw gmb had posted that BM is just a cult leader, and that we all just accept anything he says like we're all a bunch of mouth-breathing droolers.
If you want to take that position I'm cool with it, but don't get butthurt or act surprised if people are offended by it.

Richie... Jeffy is turning your site into his very own. It's just another forum to spew his hatred and it's getting ridiculous.
The name calling, for instance, is just so pathetically juvenile. He has his own site, he can call people names over there... if his site does't get enough views and he feels the need to extend his hatred over here, don't let him.
Time to take control over your site again.

A while back, I saw gmb had posted that BM is just a cult leader, and that we all just accept anything he says like we're all a bunch of mouth-breathing droolers. Am I correct to presume that you share the same feelings with Jared with regards to Greg? If it weren't true, it probably wouldn't piss people off so much. It's the same thing I've posted about a myriad of different subjects in golf. For example, I like Trackman. I don't think it's infallible. I like to practice with it. I know others who think Trackman is worthless and bad and think it will hurt your golf game if you use it. I personally think it's preposterous on that end. So it doesn't piss me off. I know I'm going to use it in the future and I know what I like and what I don't like. It's the same way with MOI matching. I am confident in what is real and what is crap. If you don't like MOI matching, that's your loss; not mine. And the Manzella Crew are really taking a sledgehammer to a glass house on this one. They've talked more shit behind people's backs than you shake a stick (or a sledgehammer) at. Perhaps you should take a look at the times the Manzella crew flat out shit on Greg before any time Greg disparaged them in any way for simply having a liking of TGM (he used to have a TGM book as his avatar). After a while when you get shit upon for no real reason other than liking TGM, it's fairly reasonable to think of that person as a cult leader. Otherwise, why would the followers shit on that person? I grew up from the school that the professionals are supposed to act...professionally. Having professionals shitting on amateurs is a disrespect for the game, for the PGA, for other professionals and the collaborative effort being made to grow the game. 3JACK

He has his own site, he can call people names over there... if his site does't get enough views and he feels the need to extend his hatred over here, don't let him. Time to take control over your site again. Here's the problem. I'm the ONLY person moderating this forum. And everybody complains to me about some other person and they end up violating the rules themselves. I lean towards talking things out rather than shutting things down and deleting posts. If somebody acts like an asshole, you can always keep those posts where they acted like an asshole and show the entire world 'hey, this guy is an asshole and here is a great example.' I would like to start limiting the Manzella posts simply because I'm bored of them. But, we have to remember that nobody is forcing anybody to read any posts. I ran into this same problem when I wanted to post on other forums like John Erickson's site. I would make good posts that were not attacking anybody and then people would complain that I was posting too much. I refuse to get a situation like that. But, there's some give and take and some of it needs to be limited down and some of it is the responsibility of the readers to say 'hey, I don't like person X's posts...so I won't read them.' 3JACK

If I went around the net and posted everywhere that 3jack is an idiot and a dbag, it wouldn't bother you at all?
What if afterwards I still came around here and tried to act like it never happened, and then acted like a victim if you got a bit of an attitude with me?
I cant speak for jared or anyone else, and the TGM stuff was before my time.
I'm just saying, if you call someone an idiot, don't be surprised if they're offended by it.

I have pretty upfront that his site is very partisan and if you disagree with anything several people go out of the way to tear you down. I dislike Mike Finney, he was the first person on any golf board I ever encountered who made personal attacks towards me, he is unprofessional. I have called him a tool on this site, others, and BM's site as well. I have told Brian this several times, he has provided lots of good information.

I don't think there's any need for name calling, or claiming to know the size of a man's penis... as is wife does... (much different when joking around with your FRIENDS btw, much different). You are far more tolerant of these poor habits than I would be, but it's your site not mine... and I respect it as such.

So, when they constantly take shots at Lynn Blake why do you excuse that? Hell, the first video of 'the new release' could have been titled 'here's why Lynn Blake is bad.' Or how about me NEVER saying a bad word about Manzella and then Finny pulling the bullshit he pulled on this forum. I've defended Manzella (and still do) more times than one can count. Yet, the thanks I got was Finney and his bullshit, Shields and his bullshit and all of the people telling me how they bash me in private conversations. Or how about Brian pleading with golf instructors (their words, not mine) to NOT join my forum because I would screw them over and I'm not an instructor? The point being is that it's Manzella's board that is being very hypocritical with regards to this subject. Funny that there is a lack of outrage on your part. And it's not that I'm asking for outrage, your obligation in golf is to yourself. But, don't come complaining to me about a blind lemmings comment (that everybody knows is reality) when they started it and have done far worse. 3JACK

Switching back to the topic of this thread, I've noticed a shift in practices at Manzella's. In the past, Finney, Shields or others might make an intemperate post that reflected poorly on Brian and those posts would quickly disappear. Now, that doesn't seem to happen and Finney has even doubled down on Willerson's original post.
Brian is acting like he doesn't care what's on his forum anymore, which I can understand from his perspective. His gig of dolling out videos for $20 a pop dried up with the "New Release". People are on to his bullshit, so he says as little as possible on any substantive topic to avoid looking foolish. For example, he has adopted an instructional approach ("torques and forces") that completely avoids any discussion of biomechanics and how you'd actually do anything. He seems happiest as a performer for Golf magazine: doing superficial videos or providing filler for so-called "instruction" articles ("Sergio has one of the ten, no five, best swings of all time!!!").
Brian has said "big changes are in the works", which to me suggests some sort of subscription-based or pay-per-view site (good luck with that!). The old format is going away, so maybe Brian is letting the kids scribble on the wall before it is knocked down to make room for the new addition.

If that's the case Richie why do you allow it here then? Teeace does nothing but shit on amateurs. Square circles?....Really who is the stupid one? It's on ongoing war that started before you got involved, there's more things behind it then just this crap. Just be a Man and admit that you want revenge and that's why you let a guy who has his own forum come here and shit in your forum that used to be about golf and now is a latrine for Jeffy to piss in. Just come clean at least we can respect that. Your forum do what you want but your hands are just as dirty.
